Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title

• Full-time, Contract, Days, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a busy level-one trauma center OR with multiple specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.
• Scrub and circulate for various surgical procedures, demonstrating flexibility to meet unit needs and float between like units or facilities as required.
• Participate in on-call rotations, up to four call shifts every four weeks, including some weekend coverage.
• Adhere to trauma level I protocols, utilizing advanced technology and maintaining compliance with hospital standards.
• Support emergency response teams during hurricane season and other crises, ensuring readiness and compliance with protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license at time of submission.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• Radiation Badge (to be provided by the agency).
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative RN experience preferred.
• Ability to work 3 days per week, with availability for on-call and weekend shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior scrub experience in a surgical environment.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma or academic hospital setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system and advanced surgical technologies.
