Contract | Days | Saturday through Tuesday schedule with weekend hours required; Saturday & Sunday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours); Monday & Tuesday 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM (11 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in an acute care rehabilitation setting
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic, post-surgical, and trauma patients
- Deliver neurological physical therapy interventions including care for stroke and spine surgery patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required
- Minimum of 1 year of orthopedic acute care experience required
- Ability to work a Saturday through Tuesday schedule including weekend shifts
- Completion of required non-billable orientation prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience treating acute care elective joint replacement and trauma patients
- Experience with acute care neurological physical therapy, including stroke and spine surgery patients
