• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for oncology patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, IV antibiotics, and anticoagulant infusions.
• Perform IV starts, central line care and maintenance, and manage telemetry (excluding monitor tech duties).
• Monitor and support patients with tube feedings and other symptomatic needs.
• Document all patient care procedures accurately in EPIC, with recent experience required.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and care protocols related to oncology treatment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license on file at the time of submission.
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience, including chemo and biotherapy.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred.
• Experience with blood products, IV antibiotics, anticoagulants, and central line management.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Recent EPIC electronic medical record experience (within past 2 years).
• Ability to work independently with reliable transportation (personal or rental vehicle, snow tires recommended from November to April).
• Must be able to start within the next week.
• Ability to provide complete work history and explanations for employment gaps over 30 days.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience caring for cancer patients with symptomatic needs.
• Experience in a large teaching hospital environment.
