Job Title

• Infection Control Nurse (LPN or RN)

• Truth or Consequences, NM

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct auditing, reporting, and tracking of infection control measures within the facility
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and standards
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Document findings and prepare reports for management
• Participate in clinical interviews for new hires
• Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions, primarily starting on Thursdays

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license
• Prior experience in infection control or related healthcare roles
• Strong auditing, reporting, and tracking skills
• Ability to conduct clinical interviews confidently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities (LTC/SNF)
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and infection prevention
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
