• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care for laboring, pre-term, and postpartum OB patients, as well as newborns.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and neonatal resuscitation procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, medication management tools, and fetal monitors.
• Complete documentation in EPIC and manage medications using Pyxis and Hospira IV pumps.
• Interpret fetal monitor data and perform cervical exams.
• Follow unit-specific protocols and participate in orientation and training programs.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Experience with fetal monitoring and cervical exams.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with neonatal resuscitation procedures.
• Knowledge of hospital medication systems such as Pyxis and GE Corometric fetal monitoring.
