• Full-time, days shift, 12-hour shifts, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 24-bed med-surg unit caring for patients with varying acuity within the medical-surgical level.
• Manage general surgery patients, including those who have undergone GI and urology procedures.
• Perform continuous bladder irrigation, NG tube care, and G-tube management.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Flexibility to float to a nearby hospital if needed, with minimal travel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (any state, eligible for temporary license if applicable).
• BLS certification through AHA.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday.
• Completion of required modules during orientation, with up to 24 hours billable.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with continuous bladder irrigation, NG, and G-tube care.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Knowledge of med-surg patient acuity levels.

Additional Notes

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• Possible assignment at a nearby hospital less than 10 miles away.
• Must complete lab work and EKG/dysrhythmia exams within 72 hours of signing contract.
• RTO requests limited to a maximum of 14 days.
• Local radius for nursing: 50 miles.
• State RN license accepted; temporary licenses available within 5-10 days.
