• Full-time, Night shifts (4x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for cardiac patients, including post-op CABG and valve management on an IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac strips, administer medications, and titrate cardiac drips as needed.
• Complete patient assessments and maintain continuous telemetry for advanced cardiac care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient recovery.
• Follow protocols for infection control, patient safety, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in any state (compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Level 1 or Level 2 cardiac or stepdown units (ICU experience does not count)
• Cardiac experience with CABG and valve post-op required
• EPIC EMR system experience preferred
• Ability to pass online EKG tele competency assessment prior to start
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• IV initiation and ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Fit for N95 mask prior to shift (PAPR available if needed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel nursing experience
• Additional experience in high-acuity cardiac or stepdown units
• Experience working in diverse healthcare settings, including floating between units or facilities
