Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Onsite | 8-Hour Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident health status, changes in condition, and responses to care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding care needs and updates
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina LPN license or valid compact state license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of prior LPN experience in a geriatric care setting
- Must be a local candidate
- No new graduates accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic health records system
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
