Job Title

• Neurosurgery OR Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week, with call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulator nursing care for neurosurgery cases, including Spine, Craniotomy, and other neuro procedures
• Assist with approximately 200 neurosurgery cases per month across 4 operating rooms
• Collaborate with a team of RN circulators, scrub techs, charge nurses, and supervisors to ensure smooth OR operations
• Document patient care using EPIC Optime electronic medical record system
• Participate in call rotations, including weeknight (1-2 nights/week), weekend, and holiday coverage
• Support OR team in maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Neuro OR cases, including spinal fusions and craniotomies
• Experience with a well-rounded range of neuro cases, not limited to spine and cranial procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with charge nurses and house supervisors in a high-volume neuro OR setting
• Ability to work independently in a team environment and handle multiple neuro cases efficiently
