Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and perform all RT therapies across multiple care settings including ED, Pediatrics, ICU, NICU, and Med/Surg
• Set up and manage ventilators, including ventilator liberation protocols in ICU and NICU environments
• Assist with intubation procedures and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
• Operate and monitor PB 840 ventilators in the ICU setting
• Provide patient and staff education related to respiratory therapy
• Function with a high degree of autonomy while contributing as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC, or active CRT certification
• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an RRT
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Ability to manage a patient load averaging 30–40 points per shift
• Strong team-player mentality with a collaborative approach to patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• PICU clinical experience
• NICU clinical experience
