Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients admitted to a critical access hospital with a strong rehabilitation focus
• Provide comprehensive physical therapy treatments with an emphasis on active treatment rather than evaluation only
• Manage a workflow of approximately one patient per hour within a 24-bed rehab-focused unit serving predominantly swing bed patients
• Utilize a fully equipped rehabilitation gym, including adaptive equipment, lift equipment, an accessible kitchen, laundry setup, and outdoor therapy spaces
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health records system
• Float to an affiliated long-term care facility within the same building as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid state Physical Therapy license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Strong rehabilitation mindset with demonstrated ability to evaluate and treat hospital-admitted patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a critical access hospital or swing bed environment
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation platform
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehab services team
