Travel - Freestanding ED CT / Radiology Tech

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general X-ray imaging in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department setting
• Operate GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable X-ray equipment independently
• Provide single-staff coverage across both CT and X-ray modalities as required
• Support a 12-bed freestanding ER with a 7-bed vertical fast track area, averaging 80+ patients per day
• Document imaging and patient information using Meditech and Sectra systems
• Assist with acute stroke ready protocols and moderate pediatric imaging volume

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Active Virginia radiologic technology license or compact license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ARRT certification (general Radiography)
• Current ARRT-CT certification
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray modalities with professional communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or high-volume emergency department environment
• Familiarity with acute stroke imaging protocols
• Experience with pediatric imaging populations
