Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Projected Start: June 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage perineal care for postpartum patients
• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns within a 23-bed Mother/Baby unit–
• Educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding techniques
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary care teams across floor and nursery settings
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN electronic medical record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of current acute care hospital Postpartum / Mother Baby experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency with Meditech / CPN or comparable EMR systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a dedicated Mother/Baby unit
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and unit workflows
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float between floor and nursery assignments
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills across staff and providers
