Respiratory Therapist – Neuro/Respiratory Diagnostics (PICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy services within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
  • Perform and interpret neuro and respiratory diagnostic procedures as applicable to scope of practice
  • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
  • Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
  • Complete all required facility orientation modules by the designated deadline during orientation week

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Active Virginia RRT/CRT license or compact state license in hand at time of submittal
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • 2 professional references required at time of submission
  • Must be available to work night shifts (19:00–07:00)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel assignment experience (first-time travelers also accepted)
  • Experience in a PICU or critical care environment
