Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Treat orthopedic populations including post-operative patients and young athletes
• Deliver targeted interventions addressing debility, fall prevention, and balance deficits
• Maintain a 1:1 patient-to-therapist ratio throughout all treatment sessions
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license (license in hand required at time of submittal)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a PTA
• Demonstrated experience and competency working with orthopedic, post-operative, and balance/falls populations
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of PTA experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Prior experience working with young athletes in an outpatient setting
