Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Days, Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30 | Call requirement includes one day per week and one weekend per four-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub for all Cath Lab procedures including complex PCI, balloon angioplasty, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablader, and Structural Heart/TAVR procedures
- Monitor patients and manage PA lines and telemetry throughout procedures
- Operate within a three-room assignment ratio in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization and EP environment
- Utilize EPIC and MAC Lab electronic systems for documentation and procedure support
- Participate in on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call with callback requirements
- Occasionally support a patient holding area within the Cath Lab unit; rare floating to EP may be required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Structural Heart scrub experience is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Ability to scrub for all procedures, not limited to diagnostic cases
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations, coil embolization, and filter placement
- Skills in circulation, IV start, and conscious sedation
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience
- ARRT Advanced Certification
