Travel IR Tech – Interventional Radiology

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | On-call required (1 weekend per month and 1 night per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform an average of 10–12 interventional radiology procedures per day including embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work
- Assist with neurological procedures including stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases
- Operate imaging equipment including Philips biplane and GE single-plane systems within a 3-room IR suite
- Support both outpatient and inpatient procedures during scheduled shift hours
- Fulfill call requirements covering overnight and weekend on-call rotations as assigned
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses and fellow radiology technologists to deliver high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of current, hands-on IR Tech experience
- Active ARRT (R) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Active Kansas state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of overall experience in the specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior stroke intervention experience
- Previous travel experience at large trauma facilities
