Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients in the Day Surgery Unit utilizing ANA Standards of Nursing Practice
• Provide Pre-Op and Post-Op Phase II care for patients undergoing day surgery and procedures
• Work cooperatively with clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice
• Support the philosophy, goals, and shared governance vision of the clinical area
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotations as required

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered / Professional Nursing program
• Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience in Day Surgery, Procedures, or IV Infusion (non-chemotherapy)
• PACU or CCU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association — card in hand prior to start date
• Influenza vaccination required; no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR or willingness to transition to Epic during the assignment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
