Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days or Nights, 4x12 or 3x12 — traveler's choice) | 13 or 26-week assignment available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting with a 1:20 patient ratio
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments and care activities using ECS charting system
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support resident health and safety
• Adhere to all long-term care regulatory and facility compliance requirements, including obtaining Alaska Food Worker Certification during onsite orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, with prior LTC experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; local candidates not accepted (must reside at least 50 miles from facility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submittal; RTO will not be considered after offer or contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECS charting system
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to variable shift schedules in a small, rural facility environment
• Comfort working in a remote location with limited local resources and housing availability
