Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title

• Travel RN - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to OR patients during surgical procedures on a 7AM - 7PM schedule
• Assist with general surgeries, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotics procedures
• Collaborate with OR staff to maintain patient safety and ensure efficient workflow
• Operate and troubleshoot OR equipment and utilize Meditech EMR for documentation
• Adhere to unit policies and call requirements, including 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital OR RN experience
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or applicable state
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Previous charge nurse or precepting experience highly preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Prior Meditech EMR familiarity
• Strong communication and flexible, easy-going personality
