Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekdays and some weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Start and manage IV lines and administer medications safely
- Monitor patient vitals and responses, escalating concerns as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on treatments and self-care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team on patient care planning
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Float to lower acuity units as needed while maintaining patient safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current BCLS certification
- IV certification required
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience
