Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital
• Monitor and document patient conditions using the hospital's Epic charting system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and medical protocols
• Assist in patient assessments, administering medications, and responding to emergencies
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units or sister facilities when required

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license active prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH stroke certification preferred
• Telemetry competency required; previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must have current trauma level experience (N/A if not applicable)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in community hospital environments
• Ability to work night shifts with flexibility to accommodate a block schedule if approved
• Prior experience with Epic charting system

Additional Notes

• Open to first-time travelers with at least 2 years of RN experience
• Local candidates within 60 miles will be considered at a reduced rate and prioritized
• RTO requests are accepted at submission; must be included in initial RTO plan
• Hurricane season from June to November may require emergency response duties
• Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing and prior to start, if within 90 days of start date
