Contract | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts (17:00–06:30) | Variable scheduling may include days, evenings, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts based on unit needs | On-call required | Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during a wide variety of surgical procedures in an 18-bed Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Circulate surgical cases with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout all phases of the surgical experience
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EPIC electronic health record system
- Participate in on-call coverage Monday through Friday and weekends as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Valid RN license (compact or state-specific) required at time of submission
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ENT surgical cases
- Background in Genitourinary (GU), Plastics, or Burns surgical specialties
