Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active ACLS certification
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition assessment and medication safety assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• No open background case findings or license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
• References available from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from assignments worked in the past 12 months
