Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week contract, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, no call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery/OB Emergency Department.
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring equipment.
- Assist with procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems.
- Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
- Experience with fetal monitoring, SVE competency, and C-section circulation (minimum 2+ years in L&D).
- Knowledge of high-volume Level IV units preferred.
- Ability to perform internal monitor placement and assist in emergency procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous employment in HCA facilities or similar high-acuity settings.
- Experience with routine procedures such as TOLAC, cerclages, and SVD.
- Strong teamwork and positive attitude.
