Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (CST)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | On-Call Required (up to 2 call shifts per month) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center main operating room covering all surgical specialties
- Support a broad range of cases including Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call shifts as required
- Float within scope to support facility needs across like units as directed
- Utilize EPIC for clinical charting and documentation
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Active NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Neuro cases (spine and craniotomy) and ENT flap procedures
- Proficiency with Robotic-assisted surgery, specifically da Vinci Xi platform
- Familiarity with Transplant/Procurement and Trauma/Burn cases
