Registered Nurse NICU

• Travel, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neonatal care to critically ill newborns in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as IV therapy, surgical post-care (NEC, PDA, CVC), and manage ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support family-centered care and communicate effectively with families and staff.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records systems such as Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech.
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, Philips and GE ECG systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience.
• Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
• Active Kansas RN license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level IV NICU experience.
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record systems.
• Experience working in large teaching hospitals or facilities.
