Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit including LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum, and OR/PACU settings
• Manage and monitor laboring patients, inductions, and high-risk antepartum cases in a fast-paced environment averaging up to 14 patients including inductions
• Perform OB triage assessments for third-trimester testing patients and incoming triage volume
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Work every other weekend and be willing to cover 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge RN experience or willingness to be trained in a charge nurse role
• Experience charting in Epic
• Familiarity with high-risk OB and antepartum patient populations
