- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13 weeks duration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and medical equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols
- Administer medication drips and manage invasive procedures including central line placements and cardioversion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in large facility ICU units
- Meditech electronic medical record system experience
- Experience with advanced ICU procedures such as heart caths, balloon pumps, and CRRT
