Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including diagnostic and interventional procedures such as Pacers, ICDs, TAVR, and EP/Ablations.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety during complex cardiac procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system, including MacLab and Meditech.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and equipment protocols, including advanced technology like Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator.
• Assist with emergent cases during on-call shifts, ensuring readiness and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license (RN) in the state of Florida or able to obtain one.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab, with specific experience in CRM and PV procedures.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac equipment and technology listed above.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and EP/ABL interventions.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically MacLab and Meditech.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be available to work 4 days per week, with shifts lasting approximately 10.5 hours.
• Scheduling includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
