Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments to patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Perform assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligning with patient needs
• Conduct therapy sessions utilizing standard equipment such as walking aides, bikes, bars, and treadmills
• Complete modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) in radiology for speech therapy candidates
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation settings for PT and OT
• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in acute care hospitals (Level 1 Trauma preferred) for Speech Therapists
• Ability to perform specialized procedures such as MBSS studies
• Flexibility and accountability, with a willingness to work on weekends as part of rotation
• Good humor, open-mindedness, and a positive team attitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Level 1 Trauma or LTAC hospitals
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and acute care procedures
• Strong proficiency in working with therapy equipment and EMR systems
