Contract | Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical room turnover, including thorough cleaning and preparation between procedures
• Transport patients safely and efficiently within the surgical services department
• Lift and move heavy equipment and supplies as required by the unit
• Support surgical services staff in maintaining an organized and compliant environment
• Complete required orientation on first shift during the initial three weeks to become familiar with unit operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in a surgical specialty
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be current with nothing pending
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active, permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single location preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with surgical services workflows and room turnover procedures
