Schedule / Job Type
- 13-week travel assignment
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
- 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a 42-bed Level 3 NICU.
- Perform procedures such as IV starts, PICC insertions (trained clinicians).
- Monitor and respond to patient needs based on acuity levels.
- Document patient care using EMRs, including Meditech and CPNT systems.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of RNs, PCTs, and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure.
- Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience.
- Ability to perform IV starts and other bedside procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in NRP.
- Experience with central lines such as UAC, UVC, Broviacs, PICC lines.
- Knowledge of STABLE protocol.
