Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday) | On-call required (nights, weekends, and holidays)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures within a fast-paced acute care environment
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, surgical instruments, and supplies specific to CVOR procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout all phases of surgery
- Respond to on-call needs during nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the department
- Adhere to facility dress code, compliance standards, and departmental protocols at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active NBSTSA (CST) or NCCT (Tech in Surgery – Certified) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery, including Cardio Thoracic and Vascular procedures
- Valid state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Travel experience in a CVOR setting required
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or short-term acute care facility
- Demonstrated ability to float between sister facilities as needed without disruption to assignment
