Contract | Nights | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality resident outcomes
- Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility regulations
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience in an LTC or SNF setting
- Familiarity with geriatric patient populations and long-term care regulations
