Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident health status, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to work night shifts on a Sunday through Saturday work week schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a LTC or SNF contract/travel nursing role
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in skilled nursing settings
