Radiology/Cardiology Tech – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Either 4x10s (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) or 5x8s (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Occasional Saturday rotation (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, approximately 2–3 times per 13-week contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography and ultrasound exams across varying patient acuity levels
• Conduct portable exams as well as studies on patients brought to the inpatient unit
• Perform outpatient ultrasound/echo exams in accordance with departmental protocols
• Operate Philips, GE, and Siemens ultrasound equipment proficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance and credentialing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of echo/ultrasound/sonography experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Must hold one of the following credentials: ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience working with patients across varying degrees of acuity, including inpatient and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with Philips, GE, and/or Siemens ultrasound platforms
