Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Thursday – Saturday including every Saturday | 60 guaranteed hours per 2-week period
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of MRI exams including brain, spine, abdomen, extremity, cardiac, and breast MRI studies
- Provide coverage across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings as needed
- Adapt to varying patient acuity levels ranging from fully ambulatory to total assist, in coordination with nursing staff
- Operate and document within an EPIC electronic health records system
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and departmental standards within a Level II Trauma Center environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) or Interventional Technology (ARRT-IT)
- Current, valid Washington State license (must be in-hand prior to start)
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local candidates)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience imaging neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations
- Prior experience with specialized MRI studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI
- Comfort working with high-acuity and total-assist inpatient populations
