Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; start times may vary between 7:15–7:45 AM; shifts may extend until last patient is seen) | No weekends or holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to oncology and hematology patients in an outpatient infusion setting
- Provide non-oncology infusions for patients with rheumatologic, gastrointestinal, neurological, and pulmonary conditions
- Perform intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as part of patient treatment plans
- Perform therapeutic phlebotomy procedures as required
- Monitor patients throughout infusion treatments, assessing for adverse reactions and responding appropriately
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification (required)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in an infusion center or outpatient oncology setting (inpatient oncology experience may be considered)
- Experience with intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
- Experience with therapeutic phlebotomy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- Experience with hematology patient populations
- Familiarity with non-oncology specialty infusions including rheumatology, GI, neurology, and pulmonology
