Ultrasound Technologist – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Weekend Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Cover STAT and ASAP ultrasound orders throughout the hospital during night shift hours
- Perform ER and OB triage ultrasound orders, including portable exams at bedside and exams conducted within the ultrasound department
- Transport patients or equipment as needed to complete imaging studies
- Complete routine exams at the beginning or end of shift when time permits
- Document and chart accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience required
- Active ARDMS certification in Abdominal (AB) or OB/GYN required
- Current BLS certification required
- Must not have a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility (local travelers are not eligible for this travel contract)
- All requested time off must be disclosed and included at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Experience performing portable and ER/OB triage ultrasound studies
