Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 3 days per week (schedule may vary based on departmental need)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a critical access hospital setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility to practice in the state of Vermont
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current BLS certification
- Experience providing respiratory care in a clinical or hospital environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
- Experience with ventilator management and critical care patients
