- Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum
Location
- Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Monitor and assess postpartum patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Administer medications and IV treatments as prescribed, utilizing IV start skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
- Assist in labor and delivery areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and breadth of skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience.
- Valid BLS certification.
- IV certification and IV start skills.
- Experience with labor & delivery (L&D).
- EPIC electronic health record experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Experience working with postpartum and maternal patients in a hospital setting.
