Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM with On-Call | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Collaborate with a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) assigned to each room to support surgical procedures
- Assist with and support complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, thoracic surgery, and AAA repair
- Accurately document patient care activities and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience
- Certification in surgical technology or equivalent required certification
- Proficiency with Epic documentation system
- Ability to work a 10-hour day shift schedule with on-call availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a high-volume cardiovascular surgery program
- Familiarity with a broad range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Experience working in a large, acute care hospital environment
