Job Title
• Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit with a focus on telemetry and critical monitoring.
• Titrate vasoactive drips, manage arterial lines, and oversee various infusion protocols including blood products and IV medications.
• Recognize, interpret, and treat dysrhythmias; monitor bedside telemetry and respond to rapid response team activations.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as central line, PICC line, and peripheral line management, along with tracheostomy and chest tube care.
• Follow strict isolation precautions and adhere to hospital protocols for high-acuity patient management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective patient care.

Required Qualifications
• Valid license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (NC) or Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a critical care or stepdown setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, IV start, telemetry, and conscious sedation experience.
• Strong arterial line, vasoactive drip management, and dysrhythmia interpretation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with ICU or telemetry unit procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with rapid response protocols and complex patient monitoring.
