Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide progressive care nursing for adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions in a mixed-acuity Stepdown/PCU environment
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and Pyxis/Accudose/Omnicell for medication management
- Apply SBAR communication standards when coordinating with the interdisciplinary care team
- Float within the organization as needed to support staffing across units
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the unit
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- Valid Ohio RN license (compact or state license) in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Progressive care, Stepdown, or PCU experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and common medication dispensing systems (Pyxis, Accudose, Omnicell)
