Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed orthopedic unit serving adult through geriatric populations, including post-surgical and medical-surgical patients
• Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
• Monitor and manage inpatient and 24-hour observation patients with medical needs, utilizing available telemetry monitoring
• Serve as Charge RN as needed and float to other units or campuses as required
• Collaborate with physical therapy staff, leveraging the on-unit therapy gym to support patient rehabilitation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic or medical-surgical nursing
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring
• Experience caring for post-operative joint replacement or fracture repair patients
