Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Block Schedule | 36 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical and telemetry setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Monitor and assess patients on a telemetry unit, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
• Float between units or locations within the same service line as needed to meet facility staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Illinois license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 1 year of med/surg, cardiac, or telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must be available for a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night block schedule
• Ability to complete required compliance modules prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a med/surg or telemetry setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records charting system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
