Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Women's unit with LDRP and NICU beds, supporting labor, delivery, postpartum, and well-infant populations
- Manage patient ratios of 1:1–2 for labor patients, 1:4 for postpartum and well infants, and 1:2–3 for NICU patients
- Perform and interpret continuous fetal monitoring throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with labor and cesarean section procedures as needed
- Utilize Alaris IV pumps and document care using the CPN documentation system
- Collaborate with unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and lactation staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Alaris IV pump systems and CPN documentation platforms
- Familiarity with LDRP and NICU care environments
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
