Key Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during assigned tour of duty
• Ensure all nursing care is delivered in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Support the Director of Nursing in maintaining the highest degree of total quality care at all times
• Apply rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices as appropriate to the long-term care setting

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable institution
• Current BLS certification
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices

Preferred Experience / Skills

• IV certification for LPNs
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
