MRI Technologist (Multimodality)

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time, Direct Hire | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite | Backup on-call required (approximately every 6 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients as requested by physicians or licensed providers for the purpose of diagnosing disease and injury
• Operate under the supervision of a Radiologist and adhere to established imaging protocols
• Work routinely across two approved imaging modalities as a multimodality technologist
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all MRI and related imaging procedures
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related imaging program
• Certification in TWO approved imaging modalities through ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS (approved modalities include: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-CV, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, ARRT-BS, ARRT-CI, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-FE, RDMS-OB, RDMS-PS, RVT, CNMT, NMTCB-CT, RS, NCT, PET, or ARMRIT)
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless the role is exclusively MRI and Ultrasound
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Less than 1 year of experience accepted; new graduates encouraged to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience or clinical training in MRI imaging
• Familiarity with multiple imaging modalities such as CT, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine
